IPTV on Android TV and Google TV

Updated on 2026-11-01

Android TV and Google TV power many televisions (Sony, TCL, Philips, Hisense and others) and Android TV boxes. JeyVision Pro has a dedicated TV interface: you only need the remote's arrow keys, no mouse or keyboard, and it handles playlists with tens of thousands of channels.

Steps

1. Install JeyVision from the TV's Play Store

On the TV open the Play Store (on Google TV: Apps tab, then Search), search for “JeyVision” and install. It is the same app as on the phone: on the TV it opens with the remote-friendly interface automatically.

2. Pick the free channels or your playlist

On first launch you can load the public TV and radio channels of more than 100 countries, or add your own M3U playlist or Xtream Codes account.

3. Send the playlist from your phone with a QR code

Typing a long URL with the remote is painful: choose “Send from phone”, scan the QR code and paste the M3U URL or Xtream details on your phone. The playlist appears on the TV in seconds.

4. Navigate with the remote

Arrows to move between categories and channels, OK to watch, Back to return. On Live TV, Back asks for confirmation before leaving the app.

5. Use the EPG guide, movies and series

With Xtream Codes you get Live TV, Movies and TV Series with posters; the programme guide shows what is on now and next on every channel.

Frequently asked questions

Which devices does it work on?

TVs and boxes running Android TV or Google TV with Android 7.0 or later, including budget 32-bit models. Chromecast with Google TV and Fire TV Stick have their own guides.

Do I have to pay to use it on the TV?

No: you get a 30-day trial with every Pro feature and the free public channels always stay available. The Pro subscription is purchased through Google Play.

Can I use the same playlist on phone and TV?

Yes: the same M3U URL or Xtream credentials work on TV, Android, iPhone and Windows.

Some free channels do not play

Public lists include channels that are only available in their own country, by the broadcasters' choice: it does not depend on the app or the TV.
