How to load an M3U playlist
An M3U playlist is a plain text file listing channels and the address of each stream. An IPTV player such as JeyVision Pro reads it and shows channels, categories and a programme guide. Here is how to load one in under a minute.
Steps
1. Get the M3U URL or file
Your provider, or a public list such as iptv-org, gives you a link usually ending in .m3u or .m3u8 (or a URL like get.php?...&type=m3u_plus). Copy it in full.
2. Open JeyVision Pro and go to Playlists
On the main screen choose Playlists, then Add playlist. Give it a recognisable name, for example "Home list".
3. Paste the URL (or pick the file)
Paste the link into the URL field. On Windows and Android you can also select a .m3u file saved on the device. Confirm with Add.
4. Wait for the load
JeyVision Pro reads the list in chunks, so even playlists with tens of thousands of channels open in seconds. Categories are built from the list's group-title tags.
5. Add the EPG guide (optional)
If you have an XMLTV URL, enter it in the playlist settings: you will see the current and next programme on every channel. Many lists already include the EPG in the url-tvg tag.
Frequently asked questions
The playlist loads but channels do not play
The stream may be offline or restricted to one country. JeyVision Pro flags unreachable channels and lets you hide them with one tap.
Can I load more than one playlist?
Yes, with no limit. Each playlist keeps its own name, categories and favourites, and you switch between them from the Playlists menu.
What is the difference between M3U and M3U8?
None for the player: M3U8 only means the file is UTF-8 encoded. Both formats are supported.
Do I need a subscription?
No. JeyVision Pro is only a player: you bring the playlists. It also includes free public lists of free-to-air TV from over 100 countries.
